Excessive precious metal lead and other harmful gases will escape into the air, causing the air to undergo a secondary process. Secondary pollution, of course, this method is currently used by fewer people.

The other method is relatively more practical. The chemical purification method mainly uses a strong acid solution to separate the precious metal in the circuit board from the silicon wafer, such as the current mainstream aqua regia method, lead-mercury method and thiourea method. This method can better extract gold, silver, copper and other precious metal elements on the circuit board. In terms of the CPU processor of a PC computer, the steps to extract gold in the CPU are actually not complicated. Pour about 40% nitric acid into the glass container, and soak the disassembled CPU in the container until the pins are completely dissolved. Gold-plated needles float in water, and after filtration, use aqua regia for secondary purification to extract the desired gold and precious metal elements. Although the precious metals of waste electronic products can be extracted by the method of strong acid liquid purification, a complete set of equipment and technology is required to efficiently and stably extract gold from electronic waste.
