Shredder Instructions and Operating Specifications
The manual is an important reference for users to install, use and maintain the shredder. Ⅰ. Basic Safety Regulations
The shredder must be crushed with a knife during operation. Therefore, employees must strictly abide by the following safety regulations during operation and maintenance.
1. When the power is turned on, do not loosen any bolts on the machine body;
2. When the body is open, do not operate the shredder or turn the knife roller;
3. Before overhauling the shredder, make sure that the circuit of the shredder is disconnected and the knife roller stops rotating;
4. When the shredder is running, do not put your hand into the hopper to clean up the debris;
5. Do not put your fingers into the screen;
6. Make sure the belt has been calibrated and the tension is suitable;
7. Check the tightness of the bolts according to the instructions; especially the tightness of the tool fixing bolts;
The design and structure of the shredder meet the safety standards under the condition of correct operation and regular maintenance in accordance with the instructions.
The operator must be familiar with the manual, operate the shredder correctly, be familiar with the materials used, the detection process, the operating speed limit, the screen setting and the use of the protection device, and be responsible for their own safety during operation.
Users must ensure that all safety signs are clearly visible and placed in the correct position to ensure the personal safety of employees.
Ⅱ. Warning and protection
In the process of installation, operation and maintenance, in order to avoid personal injury and shredder failure, please give the following safety education to employees:
1. Comply with the company's relevant safety operation rules; do not move the shredder at will: Although the fuselage has safety protection components, moving the shredder at will may still damage the metal cover, electrical box, bracket and other components of the shredder . Please refer to the relevant content in the manual before moving the body.
2. Placement of the shredder: During daily maintenance of the shredder, the staff must ensure that there is enough space to complete the work. Sufficient operating space can ensure that the staff can avoid accidents in time.
3. Safe working environment: When the shredder is running, the operating area of the shredder should be kept clean and the maintenance tools should be put away in time. Maintenance tools falling into the shredder can cause serious damage to the shredder.
4. Wear glasses or a safety mask: Although the shredder body is designed to block material backflow to the greatest extent, in order to avoid accidents, the operator must wear glasses or a safety mask when operating close to the hopper;
5. Wear protective earmuffs: When the shredder shreds hard materials forcefully, the noise is loud. Please follow the Personal Protective Equipment Guidelines in the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA1910.95) for noise protection.
6. Do not operate the shredder without installing the protective device;
7. When maintaining the shredder, do not be negligent, and must strictly follow the installation and disassembly procedures in the manual;
8. When operating the shredder, it is strictly forbidden to wear loose clothing, and it is strictly forbidden to wear any jewelry, ties, belts and other hanging objects; long hair must be tied up or coiled in a helmet;
9. Motor rotation: The direction of rotation is clearly marked on the motor, and the operator must check the direction of rotation routinely. Wrong direction will seriously damage the shredder;
10. Connect the ground wire according to regulations;
11. Before using the shredder, make sure to lock the power supply of the shredder;
12. Ensure that the safety device starts normally;
13. Do not change the settings of the shredder at will.
Ⅲ. Working principle and structural characteristics of the shredder
This series of shredders is mainly used for shredding plastic products and rubber products, metal, wood, rubber, garbage and other wastes with high hardness, relatively difficult to crush and certain toughness.
The shredder is strong and durable. The machine adopts the structure of densely packed small blades and rollers, and is equipped with mechanisms such as pusher plate for forced feeding. Working principle and structural features
The material to be crushed is put into the crushing chamber from the feeding hopper, and the crushed material is sent to the high-speed rotating knife roller through the pushing device inside the machine box, and is sheared by the moving knife and the fixed knife to make the material crush until it is smaller than the diameter of the screen hole. Ⅳ. Safety factor of shredder
1. The crusher is equipped with high-speed rotating knives. In order to avoid personal injury, the machine is equipped with a safety system to prevent the operator from touching the dangerous working area of the machine.
2. The user cannot make any modifications or settings to the safety system, and cannot operate the machine when the safety system fails or is disassembled. Maintenance and repair of the safety system must be done by trained technicians.
3. For all the consequences caused by the user's unauthorized modification of the system settings, we will not bear any responsibility. The emergency stop button is installed on the machine control electric box and the left front of the machine feed hopper. Press the emergency stop switch for emergency stop. Turn the switch counterclockwise to restart the machine.
Ⅴ. Shredder equipped with safety switch:
1. When the machine is working, if the safety switch is turned off, the power supply of the machine will be cut off, and the operation will stop.
2. Installed at the connection between the screen bracket and the box body.
3. Belt cover and hydraulic cover are important safety protection accessories. During mechanical installation and maintenance, remove the belt cover and hydraulic cover and the machine must be completely stopped and the power supply cut off.
Ⅵ. Overload protection system
1. In order to prevent accidents and ensure the normal use of the machine, the shredder is specially installed with an overload protection system. If the crushed material is extra-large, extra-thick and hard-to-break, or the feed volume is too large, the machine may be overloaded, so an overload protection device is installed. Once overloaded, the machine stops automatically, and then automatically resets and restarts to continue crushing. The protection device can make the machine crush some difficult-to-break items without damage to the machine.
2. Remind the operator to press the switch before the overload protection system starts to avoid damage to the machine when the operator observes an emergency.
