Solar panel recycling machine is used to extract silicon powder, copper powder and plastic which have high market value through physical crushing and sorting. There are three main steps in the recycling of PV modules: first, the modules are disassembled by machines or manually to remove the backsheets, wires and aluminum frames; second, the modules are crushed to remove the tempered glass; and third, the remaining panels are crushed and sorted to extract metals and plastics.
The main components of the PV module are aluminum frame, glass, cell, EVA film, and backsheet. Among them, the main component of the glass is silicon dioxide, secondary components are soda ash, limestone, magnesium oxide, alumina, mannite, carbon; EVA is mainly ethylene - vinyl acetate copolymer; cell core components are mainly monocrystalline silicon and polysilicon; the main material of the frame is metallic aluminum; backing plate is composed of two layers of PVF film and a PET film. Of these materials, more than 90% can be recycled again.
Processable raw materials:
It is used to process all kinds of waste solar photovoltaic panels and photovoltaic modules, etc., extracting the metal inside so that the resources can be used again. The equipment is capable of recovering 95% of the material from crystalline silicon photovoltaic panels, specifically "crystalline silicon" panels at the end of their lives. A typical crystalline silicon solar panel is made of 65-75% glass, 10-15% aluminum frame, 10% plastic and 3-5% silicon. Finished products can be processed:
The sorted material is processed and packaged and then sent to different industries for reuse. Two-thirds of the glass recycled becomes broken glass and is sent to the glass manufacturing industry; aluminum frames are sent to aluminum refineries; waste plastics can be used as fuel in cement plants; recycled silicon can be reused in the precious metals industry; and the remaining cables and connectors are crushed and sold as copper beads.
Process flow:
The scrap PV panels enter the shredder for shredding, and the shredded material enters the crusher for crushing, breaking up the EVA film and monocrystalline silicon wafers, and the broken material enters the collector through the induced draft fan, then after sorting, the silicon is sorted out, and the remaining mixture then enters the shredder, and then enters the airflow sorting screen through the closed air device, and the positive metal and plastic are collected through airflow plus vibration, and the dust generated by the airflow sorting machine is collected at the same time. The dust generated by the airflow sorter is collected.
