Cable Wire Recycling Separating Copper and PVC
Cable wire recycling machines play a vital role in separating and recovering valuable materials from scrap copper wires and cables. 1. Crushing and Grinding
The first step in the cable wire recycling process is to feed the scrap copper wire/cable into a knife pulverizer. The pulverizer grinds the wire into a granular mixture. The mixture consists of crushed copper and plastic components.
2. Air Separation
After grinding, the pulverized particles are blown into an air separator using a high-pressure blower. Inside the separator, two vibrating motors drive the granules. Due to the difference in gravity, the copper cladding is easily collected by the blower while the plastic granules flow out through another discharge hole.
3. Dust control
To ensure that dust contamination is minimized, pulsed baghouse equipment effectively controls dust overflow from the process. The dust removal efficiency of this system is up to 99%, keeping the environment clean.

Knife Crusher: for initial grinding of waste wires/cables.
Air Separator: Separates copper and plastic particles according to their different characteristics.
High-pressure blower: drives the crushed particles to the air separator.
Vibrating motor: Promotes the movement of particles inside the separator.
